APSRTC recruiting 207 Traffic Supervisor Trainees and 212 Mechanical Supervisor Trainees

APSRTC invites online applications called for recruitment of Traffic Supervisor Trainee(TST) and Mechanical Supervisor Trainee(MST).

Traffic Supervisor Trainee(TST) : 207 posts
Mechanical Supervisor Trainee(MST) : 212 posts

Educational Qualification:
Traffic Supervisor Trainee(TST) :Any graduation from recognized university.
Mechanical Supervisor Trainee(MST) :
Diploma in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering conducted by the department of Technical Education. Government of A P. or its equivalent qualification in the same discipline. Candidates possessing higher qualifications of BE/B.Tech/AMIE in the discipline of Automobile/Mechanical Engineering are also eligible.
AGE: The Candidates must not be below 18 years and above 25years as on 01/07/2010. Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST/BC candidates. Relaxation by 3 years for Ex-Servicemen in addition to the length of service rendered in Defence Services subject to maximum 45 years for both posts.
METHOD OF SELECTION: Based on Objective type Written Test & Interview. Weightage marks for (a) Marks in qualifying degree (b) Higher Qualification (c) Achievement in NCC/Sports Only those who rank high in the Written Test would be called for Interview community-wise.
PERIOD OF TRAINING: One year on a stipend of Rs. 9280/- per month.
PAY SCALE: Upon successful completion of training. the Selected Candidates will be appointed as Dy. Superintendent (traffic)Dy. Superintendent (Mechanical) in the time scale Rs.9280-29 2760•320-15320-340-19400-365-23780 plus usual allowances as admissible and will be placed on probation.
APPLICATON FEE: Each applicant must pay Rs. 175/- (Rupees one hundred and seventy five only) towards
i) Applicants under General category must also pay Rs. 200/- (Two hundred only) towards
Examination fee if applying for one post i.e., either TST or MST (applicants belonging to
SCIST/BC Departmental candidates/Ex -Servicemen need not pay this fee).
ii)Applicants under General category must pay Rs.400/- if applying for both TST & MST post
towards examination fee.
iii) Candidates belonging to States other than Andhra Pradesh will be considered in general
category only and are required to pay the above prescribed fee.
